Live Chicks and Ducks for Easter Sessions!

I have always loved springtime for many reasons and the biggest is probably because it brings on new beginnings. For literally everything! The trees begin to blossom and the grass starts to grow and become greener. The sounds change from dead silence to birds singing in the morning and the evenings are filled with sounds of happy children laughing outside. The smell of fresh warmer air and the summertime planning begins. We start to notice small things, like spiders and ants roaming our laws and even some bigger creatures too like rabbits and newborn bunnies.

If you know me, you know I LOVE animals. Growing up with farm animals all around has made me the country “bumpkin” that I am. I was raised in a small town where nearly every family had some sort of farming going on. To the children it was fun having these creatures around…only to later find our little creature friends wind up on our dinner table. Our parents thought of it as part of the life-cycle and made sure we didn’t name them.

Looking back now, on the fun times I had being around farm animals, it makes me miss the countryside of my home-state, Missouri. I thought it would be so neat if I could give other kiddos a fun experience with chicks and ducks too. Living in Oklahoma City with more suburbs than I can count, you don’t see homes with farm animals because, well, they are illegal inside of the city limits. So I have found a neat way to give kids the experience they deserve to have as children by offering some live sessions this year! I mean come on! This is so super adorable!
