Quarantine 2020

Woah. Never in my life did I ever imagine being on lockdown. To be honest I sort of love it….sort of hate it.

Growing up I’ve always loved the outdoors. I like going and doing things. I’ve never been a homebody! So this is sort of driving me nuts!

On the other hand, however, I really sort of love the idea. I don’t have to work. Fortunate to have money in the bank and no financial worries like many other Americans do. I’m blessed with a great life! The biggest reason though is that the environment has now had time to replenish itself and for someone like me who enjoys the beautiful outdoors, I have noticed a drastic change! Don’t get me wrong though, the beneficial change in the environment doesn’t reduce the anguish our precious Earth is suffering by such an outbreak.

It can be hard for many to see the silver lining in such a pandemic but there are so many positive effects of this current situation! People are driving less because Of government-enforced “Stay at Home” orders in fear of catching Covid-19. They can spend more quality time with immediate family making memories. This has caused an economic slow-down, thus making what was once smog-laden cities clear back up. What’s been a huge health threat has had a dramatic cap and left us with beautiful blue skies.

My view from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
